Dr. Janelle Jorgensen was born and raised in Bend, OR. After graduating Mountain View High School, she competed as a collegiate pole vaulter and received her bachelor’s degree from the University of South Dakota. After veterinary school at Oregon State University, she returned home to complete a yearlong internship at Veterinary Referral Center of Central Oregon. Dr. Jorgensen then stayed on as an emergency veterinarian. While stabilizing critical patients is still an interest to Dr. Jorgensen, she is excited to form long lasting relationships with pet parents and help prevent emergency visits. Dr. Jorgensen lives alongside her husband, Erik and their three sons: Callen (2 legged and furless), Remington (3-legged border collie), and Benji (4-legged mutt). You can find the Jorgensens outside enjoying all the activities Bend has to offer: hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing, snowboarding, gardening, wake surfing, and trying the newest brewery.
