Dr. Chew was born & raised in the California Bay Area. Despite being a military 'brat' she stayed put for all of her childhood. She attended California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo (Cal Poly SLO) where she obtained a bachelor of science in Animal Science with a Dairy Science minor. She then attended the College of Veterinary Medicine at Washington State University (GO COUGS!) and earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2012.
